Intermediate & Advanced Yoga Workshop – Chakras & Physical Body

Do you already have a good experience with yoga and feel ready to move beyond simply performing asanas?

Would you like to develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between the physical body, breath, movement, concentration, and the energetic dimension of yoga?

The Intermediate & Advanced Yoga Workshopβ€”Chakras & Physical Body has been created precisely for this purpose.

From 18 to 20 September 2026, YogaMea welcomes you to Misano Adriatico, on the beautiful Romagna Riviera, for three days dedicated to developing a deeper, more conscious, and structured practice. This workshop is not about mastering the most difficult postures or performing increasingly spectacular asanas; for an intermediate or advanced practitioner, true progress lies in cultivating greater awareness, refinement, and understanding of the deeper dimensions of yoga.

Deeper Attention
Developing a greater quality of attention during practice.
Body Awareness
Learning to listen to the body and its signals.
Alignment
Understanding alignment and its role in the practice.
Breath
Learning to manage the breath and its influence on practice.
Intensity
Knowing when to increase intensity or modify a posture.
Stability & Mobility
Creating stability before seeking greater mobility in a posture.

And, above all, learning to practice without turning Yoga into a competition with yourself or with others.

During these three days, we will explore the relationship between Chakras, the physical body, and yoga practice, using asana, pranayama, mudras, mantras, meditation, and awareness practices.

Chakras & the Physical Body

The central theme of the workshop will be the exploration of the seven Chakras through yoga practice.

During the workshop, the chakras will be presented within yogic and tantric traditions as a symbolic and contemplative map of the subtle body.

They will not be presented as anatomical organs or medical concepts.

Instead, we will use them as a framework for observing the relationship between the body, breath, movement, attention, and inner experience.

  • πŸ”΄ Muladhara – Grounding & Stability

The first chakra will be explored through our relationship with the ground, points of support, feet, legs, and pelvis.

We will work on the ability to create a stable foundation before increasing intensity or range of movement.

    Theme: grounding, stability, presence.

  • 🟠 Svadhisthana – Fluidity & Mobility

We will explore the pelvis, hips, and fluidity of movement.

The practice will focus on the ability to move without rigidity while maintaining sensitivity and awareness.

    Theme: fluidity, mobility, and adaptability.

  • 🟑 Manipura – Strength & Transformation

The center of the body, strength, and the ability to sustain a dynamic practice will be at the heart of the work.

We will explore the relationship between core stability, movement, and direction.

    Theme: strength, will, transformation.

  • πŸ’š Anahata – Openness & Relationship

Through work with the chest and shoulder girdle, we will explore openness while maintaining stability and freedom of breath.

    Theme: openness, balance, listening.

  • πŸ”΅ Vishuddha – Expression & Listening

Breath, sound, mantra, and awareness of the cervical region will accompany the practice.

We will observe the relationship between breathing, expression, and the ability to listen.

    Theme: communication, authenticity, listening.

  • 🟣 Ajna – Concentration & Vision

Through Dharana, concentration, balance and meditation, we will work on the ability to maintain stable attention.

    Theme: concentration, discernment, vision.

  • βšͺ Sahasrara – Integration & Contemplation

The final stage of the journey will focus on integration.

    Less performance.

    More silence.

    More observation.

A greater ability to remain present within the experience.

    Theme: integration, contemplation, awareness. .

Advanced Practice Does Not Mean Forcing the Body

One of the fundamental elements of this workshop will be learning to distinguish between intensity and aggression.

A sensation of stretching, warmth, or muscular effort can be part of the practice.

Sharp pain, sudden stabbing sensations, numbness, dizziness, or joint pain should never be ignored.

Our goal is not to push you beyond your limits.

It is to teach you to recognize your limits and work intelligently with them.

Pain is not progress.

Awareness is progress.

I have just completed the 200 hour teacher training course and it was excellent from every point of view. Most importantly, the teaching was superb and I had opportunity to put into practise everything that I was learning (teaching classes myself) with any support or guidance that I needed.
