Twenty years ago I had a life-changing car accident. My cervical spine and knee were damaged. Instead of opting for medicine and going to the hospital, I started practicing yoga. Nothing in life is a coincidence. Everything happens for a reason. I believe the car accident happened for me to move towards yoga. - Timea Vitez
Often referred to as the birthplace of Yoga, Rishikesh is the premiere destination for thousands of Yoga enthusiasts who are eager to experience this noble, ancient discipline. Rishikesh is located in north India between the Ganga River and in the foothills of the Himalayan mountain range, and offers a variety of yoga teacher training programs: RYS 200, RYS 300, and RYS 500 hours. This is where YogaMea School found its beginning…we dreamed of bringing life-changing programs to others. Staying true to the authentic essence of Yoga as close to what was taught by the ancient Mystics of ancient India. Our intention is to share a similar genuine, traditional feel of the birthplace of Yoga by delivering similar styles of teaching to those in place in India, particularly, Hatha Yoga.
After a debilitating accident over 20 years ago, Timea discovered yoga as a way to heal. She successfully healed from her injuries and began a lifetime dedication to yoga, traveling to India to immerse herself in the studies which formed the foundation of her vast teaching experience.
She has since established YogaMea School in 2013 and taught in India, Italy and Bucharest. Her passion for sharing her knowledge of Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Hatha yoga to new and experienced yoga practitioners is infectious.
As a result, in addition to being loved and well-respected in the yoga community, she has been referred to as one of the best international yoga teachers.

Tom’s spiritual journey started very early, without being even aware of it. He was born in a family that promotes being aligned with yourself as much as you can is the best way of living life. But what does it mean? When you are a kid it's hard to figure out the difference between the mind and the self, right? Yoga gave him this understanding about how the mind works, how he can deal with fears and becoming free from them to really live this life and not trying to survive from it.
Taichi was his first real practice in 2009 with Sebastian Lee is Geneva, Switzerland. Seb helped him to enter into the holistic dimension of physical practice.
At the same time, he was following Barbara Brennan School of Healing (BBSH) in Miami(USA) for 2 years and Bad Ischl (Austria) for one year. This course gave him a deep understanding of human trauma, family and society conditionings and the therapeutic way to help as well as an energetic and etheric understanding of the human energetic field. 2012 was the first travel in China to train his mental and physical strength in Shaolin kung-fu school as well as deepening his Taichi practice in the Wudang mountains and Beijing with the master Wang Laoshi.
Tom came back in 2015 where he met Emilie Tasté, one of the founders of Centre des thérapie Naturelles d'Antibes (CTN-Antibes, Antibes, France) and worked there for 3 years. During that time he followed a yoga and meditation teacher training and got certified by Jacques Vignes.
The feeling of the need to go away to learn more and deepen his Yoga knowledge came up and he went to Rishikesh to follow a 500hrs advanced teacher training in 2018. Realizing that Yoga has much deeper knowledge, Tom decided to start a course at the KYM Institute which will allow him to access the therapy section. Always remain a student.
Since she was a little child Sabrina has always loved dancing: filling spaces with her body and energy has given her a sensation of freedom, happiness, and mental weightlessness. When she stopped dancing, she tried other sports, in order to feel that same sensation but nothing could ever compare. Sabrina started going to yoga classes to get that feeling back but when she moved countries she gave it all up again.
A few years later, while trying out a class with a friend, she once again started to feel that fulfillment by means of Aeroyoga. Her interest in yoga started growing. Sabrina wanted to know why she was experiencing so many changes in herself and her way of seeing things and experiencing emotions, so out of pure curiosity she signed up for the 200 hours yoga teacher training course with the Yogashala Institute in Marbella (Spain) with the sole intention of knowing more about it.
She remembers the teacher, Javier Castro, asking the students on the first day why they were there and when she replied it was just out of curiosity, he laughed and said: you will be a yoga teacher. Yoga conquered her..... Sabrina started feeling better, happier, more focused and positive, understanding, calm but energized. It was the beginning of her personal journey and the teacher was definitely right. Instead of just improving her knowledge, she developed a need to share all her self growth with other people. While living in Spain Sabrina taught aero yoga, Hatha yoga and Ashtanga Yoga in Marbella, in her yoga institute (which she felt blessed too) and surroundings
On moving back to Italy Sabrina completed the 500 hours teacher training course with Timea Vitez in Misano, who opened the doors to her new life. Timea asked her to be part of her team which she has been totally delighted to do. Passion for Ashtanga Vinyasa brought her to India and she started the 200 hours teacher training with Kamal Singh in Rishikesh.
Yoga led her back to herself, her true self and gave her the chance to get to know people with similar ideas. She can share her thoughts and ideas and practice with others, which has made her feel blessed. When you take the Yoga path it is not just about becoming a teacher but also a permanent student, which is totally in tune with Sabrina's way of being. She loves to learn and grow and transmit to others everything that has been good and transforming for her.
Yoga has been unconsciously part of Donatella's life since her adolescence when for the first time she approached spirituality, family difficulties pushed her even more to find answers to questions that arose spontaneously. Her path was therefore directed towards what she thought could be her cause of life, art, and faith.
With the study of movement, dance, she began to perceive her body in space and experience what she will later recognize as a discipline, trust, and perseverance. She always has given more importance to the expression of movement than to the rigid technique with which she confronted herself every day, but actually she says rigidity was in her mind and the conflicts she had with her body moved her away from the center. But she never stopped looking.
In 2016 she moved to China, in Macau, and she met Victor Kumar who introduced her to Yoga, She studied with him for two years before returning to Italy and with this experience in her heart, she decided to deepen her studies.
On her return to Italy, she completed RYT 500H in two years, graduating as Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa Teacher in the YogaMea School, in Misano Adriatico, thanks to the teaching and continuous support of Timea Vitez. Here the teachers offered her to join the YogaMea team and she says they gave to her the opportunity to continue feeding, researching, and sharing her path with others.
Grateful for this opportunity in 2018 she started immediately to teach in Rome and cultivate herself as a yoga teacher. At the same time, she started to train as an actress and come back to the dance.
"Yoga and theater have allowed me to find that center, to recognize myself and find myself, to become aware of my body, my mind, my emotions and to perceive its union starting from the breath. Relaxation, grounding, and expansion lead me to see and feel every aspect of reality and to seek its faith. Art and spirituality come together in continuous research."
YogaMea School believes in creating a community where students can always come back to teach and create their own workshops. YogaMea School has come to understand that students appreciate this traditional “back to basics” approach. It puts them in touch with what their students will need for their future teaching experiences and helps our students understand how to adapt and cater to the different experience levels found in a group during a course.
YogaMea is a community-oriented school, with students from all walks of life: From seniors citizens to military personnel; from professional athletes to soccer moms; from corporate executives to college students; and from grade school teachers to professors. We go to great lengths to create a friendly, non-intimidating environment for everyone who is curious about the transformative benefits a yoga practice can afford. Furthermore, we love helping beginners explore their yoga journey.
